Around the world, anonymous companies appear in 70% of large-scale corruption cases. Since 2017, Armenia has been working to ensure greater business transparency and accountability to society through a series of beneficial ownership and transparency reforms.

Shushan Doydoyan is the founder of the Freedom of Information Center of Armenia since 2001. Shushan is a FOI activist who initiated and promoted the adoption of Armenia's law on “Freedom of Information.” in 2003. As the president of FOICA her current work includes undertaking and coordinating strategic litigation, public education campaigns, organizing training for civil servants, civil society representatives, monitoring of implementation of freedom of information law, coordinating comprehensive social projects in the sphere of human rights, government transparency and openness.
